More than 50 years ago, shortly after graduating from college, Russ made Durango home and founded Animas Painting & Decorating. What began as a small business grew into a lifelong passion for real estate, investment, development, and helping shape the community of Southwest Colorado.

An entrepreneur, developer, investor, and trusted advisor, Russ brings a unique perspective shaped by decades of experience in business, design, construction, land development, and real estate. He helps clients see opportunities, solve problems, and make confident decisions.

Throughout his career, Russ has helped shape many of Southwest Colorado's landmark residential and commercial projects, including Tamarron, Cascade Village, Fort Lewis College, Durango Tech Center, Twin Buttes and West Dalton Ranch.
